Fishing for Smallmouth Topic at July Meeting
Fishing for smallmouth bass in the North Holston, Clinch and New rivers of Virginia will comprise the program monthly meeting July 13 at 7 p.m. at the House of Ribs, 3100 N. Roan St., in Johnson City.
Barry Loupe, owner and guide of the
Northfork Guide Service in Saltville, Va., will share his years of experience
with us.
Charles Martin will tie the Mod. King
River Caddis at the fly-tying demonstration beginning at 6:15.
Come and bring a friend or two.
The social
hour begins at 6 p.m. followed by a brief business meeting at 7:00.

Inactive TU Chapter Donates Funds to Overmountain Chapter
Frank Gentry, of the inactive Nolichucky chapter of Trout Unlimited, has presented the Overmountain chapter with a check for $1,010 from funds remaining in the defunct chapter's accounts.
Be sure to express your gratitude to Frank and other members of the Nolichucky chapter when they visit our July meeting.

a Kid Fishing
The annual Take a Kid Fishing program sponsored by Overmountain Chapter will be from July through September.
Details will be announced at the July meeting.

The contest began at the February meeting and will continue until the January, 2001 meeting. Three prizes will be awarded to those recruiting the most new members, and they will be awarded at the January meeting. Leadership Team Member Tom Hensley will be announcing the winners.
