Ken Chase reported that work is proceeding to get the permits and other paper work completed to start the stream stabilization embrace-a-stream project on Buffalo Creek at Lions Field in Elizabethton. It is expected actual work on the stream will begin about August 1. 10. Bob Sherrill reported on possible TU give-a-ways for members renewing their membership. It was decided not to move ahead on this idea until national TU clarifies how membership rebates will be handled.
