River safety the topic at June meeting
Leadership Team Member Tom Hensley
will enlighten us on the importance of "River Safety" at the monthly meeting
June 8 at 7 p.m. at the House of Ribs, 3100 N. Roan St., in Johnson
City. This is something we all need to be concerned about as we fish these
streams. Tom operates the Rivers & Streams Guide Service in Erwin.
George Grant will tie the "Dun
Variant" at the fly-tying demonstration beginning at 6:15.
Come and bring a friend
or two.
The social
hour begins at 6 p.m. followed by a brief business meeting at 7:00.

New members contest Still running strong
Leadership Team
Member Tom Hensley is overseeing a new members contest for the Overmountain
Chapter.
The contest began
at the February meeting and will continue until the May 11 meeting. Three
prizes will be awarded to those recruiting the most new members, and they
will be awarded at the June 8 meeting.
