We will be conducting a Women's Intro to Fly Fishing Clinic on Saturday, September 17th. We will start out with some classroom training to go over some of the basics skills. After the classroom training, we will put a fly rod in your hands to go over everything you will need to know to start fishing. After that we will pair you up with a mentor to get out on the water and start fishing. This person will be your mentor over the course of a year to continue to take you out fishing and develop your skills.
You can bring your own gear if you have it, but if not, we will provide all of the required gear.
The cost is $25 and it covers the cost of the class and your meals for the day.
If you are interested in attending please CLICK HERE to register. The class is limited to 10 people and applicants will be taken on a first come first served basis.
Here is a video that was made by OMTU members back in 1999. It tells about the mission of OMTU and some of the past projects that we have worked on as a chapter. The narrator of the video, Paul Anderson, recently passed away so we decided to post this video in his honor. The projects that we have worked on over the years may have changed, but the mission remains the same.
