Temperature Monitors

 

We have place several cellular temperature monitors in several of our local streams and rivers.  Temperature monitors were installing on the upper, middle, and lower portions of the South Holston and Watauga Rivers. In addition, we have also installed water level/temperature monitors on Beaverdam Creek, Doe Creek, and Laurel Fork.  These temperature monitors will provide valuable information to us and our conservation partners to give us a better understanding at what is happening in our rivers.  The data from the temperature sensors will be transmitted to the dashboards once per hour.
